About Me

Beyond the Game. Building a Resilient Mindset for Life
Growing up, sports were my foundation. Sports have a way of shaping mental toughness and the ability to push through discomfort. Competing at the highest level whether in volleyball, triathlons, or as the #1 professional Beach Tennis player for the USA Team participating in local and international tournaments, such as World Cups (2022/23/24) and Pan American Games (2019/23/24), taught me what it takes to develop an unshakable mindset, stay disciplined, and perform under pressure.
Do you often wait until you feel “ready” or until the timing feels perfect? Growth (personal or professional) doesn’t happen when everything is certain it happens when you take action despite the uncertainty. Success, growth, and resilience come from showing up, every single day, no matter how hard things get.
The strategies that shaped my athletic and fitness career are the same ones that can help you move forward. You will lose weight, get fitter and more energized.

Lessons from Life’s Hardest Moments
But I didn’t always feel strong, confident, or in control of my health.
There was a time … when I felt completely out of sync with my body.
I was juggling motherhood, a full-time job, deep grief, and the emotional weight of a life transition … that I wasn’t prepared for.
Then .. one day when my daughter was 2 … everything changed. When I pulled into the garage and parked my car, I tried to carry her .. and just couldn’t. The pain in my back and knees were so bad, I couldn’t lift my own daughter without waking her up.
At that specific moment I decided to rebuild … not just my body, but my mindset, my habits, and my life.
I found coaches who guided me. I started going to the gym then competing in small triathlons … and at age 50, I became the #1 beach tennis player in the U.S. and ranked 44 in the world… after going pro in my late 40s, all while having a full-time job and being a single mom.
After so many years, I now understand how important that change back in my 30s was to my life. I’m a true believer that not only it is never too late, but that we can become an even better version of ourselves as we grow older: mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and yes, physically too.

Progress matters more than perfection. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start.
